There are not enough good words to describe these two. They are one of my favorite couples and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who said “finally” when they decided to date.

Shelby and Chad

Shelby + Chad are one of those couples that were friends for forever. The three of us started out working in the Undergraduate Admissions office at DBU and when they posted their first picture as a couple on Instagram, I’m pretty sure the entire campus was excited.

Yep! There it is!

So, as I was going through videos to post today, I wanted something that would be near and dear to my heart. A lot of you know that I have a passion for helping grow small businesses, just like me, and I thought this would be a great  opportunity to introduce you guys to someone very talented.

Please say hi to :

Little Gray Films

Graysen Reed is a student at DBU! Her sister and I actually worked together with Chad and Shelby in Undergrad Admissions. I’ve been following her work for a while and just love how much she has grown and shown us love stories through video. So, today you are not only getting one, but TWO videos!!

And as always, if you would like to hear more from Shelby, you can follow her and Chelsea on their adorable blog Crust and Cardigans!

There’s always something special about your first wedding of the year and this one did not disappoint. From the rock star wedding party all the way to one of my favorite couples of all time, this was a wedding I will never forget.

A huge HUGE shout out to the girl that did (what I thought was) the impossible…by not only being the maid of honor, but the photographer. Alison Harp Photography killed it. She brought in a dream team of shooters and the day was flawless.

Natalie & Taylor are the furthest thing from boring and they definitely brought all their non-boring friends to celebrate with them and I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding party.

So, without further adieu…

Mr. & Mrs. Taylor Zambreski

Favorite Part of Wedding Planning: Ummmmm. Oh man. Oh man. I feel pressured. Haha. I was so lucky to have so many of my friends help with so much. My bridesmaids were the greatest in the entire world, so anything we did together wound up being a blast, from DIY décor crafting, to showers, bachelorette parties, those were my favorite moments J And I enjoyed anything that Taylor and I got to do together. Wedding planning felt like such a team effort, and I loved that!

Favorite Part of the Day: This is probably the wrong answer, but I loved the getting ready time. It was so incredibly laid back and so so happy. I didn’t have to lift a finger all day, and just go to sit around with my favorite people in the world and just enjoy the beauty of the day with a glass of champagne in my hand. And also the part where I said I do. That was fun too J

Advice for Future Brides: HIRE BRITNI. Seriously, I’m not kidding. I look back on how perfect the day was, and how beautifully everything went. NONE of that would have been possible if we hadn’t had such an incredible “Day-Of” team. Every single one of my bridesmaids commented on how they’ve never been a part of a wedding that has gone so smoothly, and they loved being able to just relax and enjoy the day with me! Having that day to just fully relish in the day with all my loved ones meant the world to me!

Here we are again and I have been waiting weeks to show you guys this video. Most of you know my friend Jordan and if you do, you know that I like to talk about his work A LOT. But it’s just because his work it so good!

Since we finally got to work together on a wedding last week, I figured I could feature some of his work and what better way to do that than to show you my favorite video!?

These two love birds in this video are some of the most God fearing people I know. Jacqueline and I spent about a year working at DBU together and I cannot say enough good things about her! She is genuin

e, sweet and has the biggest heart for others and for the Lord. When Jacqueline and Josh started dating, I could tell that she was head over heels for him. He is such a passionate person and would do anything for Jacqueline.

I love the letters that they wrote to each other. They are filled with a love of one another and of Christ.

Everyone, please meet Jacqueline and Josh Elliff

Mason Jar Films did an incredible job of capturing their day.

It’s that time again and the video I have for you this week is hilarious.

I actually went to school at DBU with the Bride’s sister (MOH) and when this video came across my Facebook feed, I about died! Chloe’s speech was funny, heartfelt and you can definitely tell that she loves her sister and her- now- husband.

Take a look at this gorgeous video from Hoover Films:

Have a happy Wednesday!

I started a new tradition last week with Wedding Video Wednesday and got some great feedback, so I’m hoping that this will become a tradition!

This week’s video is from Splendor Films and I have been following them for a very long time. They always do such a great job of choosing such great music to tell a love story.

I hope you enjoy Bailey and Andrew:

1//Holy moley. As y’all know, I have been trying to keep up with my goals for the year and I am proud to say that this was one of the best decisions I could’ve made. I met some amazing girls and had a blast at the Floral Crown Workshop by RLove Florals and hosted at Grit + Gold Studios .

2// The very gorgeous Natalie + Taylor were the first to kick off the 2014 wedding season! And their day could not have gone any better!
3// There are very few things that I like to splurge on, but after working one wedding with this gorgeous apron from Oatmeal Lace, I have no idea how I did my job without it!
4// You know, there are things you just don’t think about until they happen to you. I always forget how much it means when I know that people have thought about me. And for those of you that are confused right now, last week was Administrative Appreciation Day. And for those of you that think I just do weddings- hopefully one day- right now, I am working a part-time job at a church in Ft Worth. I have the best boss in the entire world and if you pay close attention to this picture, you’ll notice there’s a lot of blue. So aside from my favorite color being leopard print- and yes, that is a color- I love blue and he hit the nail right on the head.
5//As I take a deep breath and explain this next picture, just know that it is still a work in progress. Humility is something huge that has been laid on my heart this past month and something I am striving so hard towards. Now, I know no one is perfect, but I love being reminded of Christs’ humility.
“For even the Song of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”
– Mark 10:45

6//Happy 21st Birthday to my middle brother, Preston! We are so crazy and I love love love it when the three of us get together. (You should’ve seen the Bass Pro Shop employees laughing at us after the many attempts to get all three of us on top of each other)
7//Speaking of Preston…his hockey team won their Championship game!!!
8// I am always looking for ways to grow and learn more and with that is coming a more laid out plan for blogging. No one ever said it would be easy, but I am finding that when I plan ahead and think through ideas, that I like the outcome more. That being said, I have started a new Wednesday feature called Wedding Video Wednesday and this was my first feature!

If you want you can check out January, February and March too!

– B

So, just so y’all know, it is not as easy as it looks coming up with things to talk about when there isn’t a wedding to post! For the past few weeks, I have been trying to figure out something I could do on a weekly basis that I love and I know other’s would love.

I don’t know about y’all, but I can sit around ALL DAY LONG and watch wedding videos. There is just something about the love and happiness is captured. All that being said, from now on every Wednesday will be known as Wedding Video Wednesday and I will feature my favorite video for that week.

This week is all about Heather & Andrew. This is one of the first videos I ever saw after starting in the wedding business and I instantly fell in love! These two are not only completely in love with each other, but they are completely in love with the Lord and it is so evident in this video. Candlelight Films did an amazing job and I can’t wait for you to see it!

This has been such an amazing/crazy/busy/exhausting/most rewarding weeks of my time working at Pantego Bible Church. Every year we gear up for Easter, but this year is different.

People are hungry.

Hungry for more of Christ and are yearning for something to fill the emptiness that the world cannot fill.

Easter Post

From: Two of a Kind

No matter where you are at in life, there’s nothing too large for Christ. As we take the next few days, remember the sacrifice He made.

We are singing this song on Easter Sunday. Not only is it true, but so powerful. These lyrics should be something we are proclaiming Forever.
