Y’ALL. Brittany is the picture of a Southern Bride! When we met for our initial meeting, she said that she wants to incorporate as much Southern tradition as possible & she did!! Here is a sneak peak from Elisabeth Carol Photography!!

Ok, y’all, let’s be real. Every girl wants that rocking honeymoon bod and dreads doing to work to get it, when most guys can do two crunches and – POW – and 8 pack….Not even fair. So, not wanting to kill myself, but also wanting to make a life change and, hopefully, learn something along the way, I’ve chosen to go with Tone It Up. Tone It Up was started by two ladies who really just enjoy health eating and working out and are HILARIOUS!

I joined about a year ago, just for the workouts that they post online. I didn’t really get into it until around January when I did their 8 Weeks New Years Series. Let’s just say I made it 4 out of the 8 and just got lazy. SO, my goal is to make it through all 8 weeks of the Bikini Series that starts TOMORROW.

So, follow me through this journey and I will to tell you the pros and cons and my true opinions of this process. I can’t wait to see how not only does my body change, but so do my cravings and how I view foods!

 Let’s do this!

When one of the sweetest people you know calls you and asks if you would be interested in doing a styled shoot for a workshop, you drop everything and say YES! Jessica with Jessica Gold Photography is a gem and has the most contagious spirit! She launched her first workshop this year and totally crushed it – even though she completely lost her voice!

We worked with some AMAZING vendors & despite the dreary weather, I loved how it all came together!

We were so blessed to be featured on Ruffled Blog! Thank you thank you thank YOU to everyone who made this possible!

We also got to see my friend Emily at Emily Paige Films create an amazing behind the scenes video!!

This wedding was anything short of fun. Britan and Taylor made sure to create an atmosphere that no one would forget! From an epic band to Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits at the end of the night, they’re guests left happy!

Taylor & Britan’s wedding was featured on Wedding Chicks back in February and anyone could see why! It was full of gorgeous Fall details that could not have happened without this amazing list of A team vendors!

In our early conversations about marriage, I was already hoping for the venue of my dreams. When White Sparrow Barn opened this past year, I fell in love. You also know it was meant to be when your friends kept referring to it as “Britni’s venue”! I told Stephen, early on, that I wanted WSB, but when I check in to their availability in October for another bride, I found out they were almost booked for 2016. After much stressing and failed attempts to find anything like it, I came to grips with the fact that it may never happen and I was ok with that.

It was time to take my own advice and remember that the venue wouldn’t change whether or not Stephen and I would get married. So, I let it go. Best decision ever.

Little did I know that he and some of my closest friends were scheming. The day I was working at a workshop in January, he was visiting the venue to book it for us!! Just out of curiosity, that week, he emailed Nadia and asked if anything in the Fall was open. She said that November 5 had just opened up!! GOD IS SO GOOD. Y’all!

Many of you asked what was on the piece of paper he gave me at our engagement party was. It was his gift to me – White Sparrow!!

We could not be more excited than to share our special day there & it cannot come fast enough!!

All of the venue and engagement photos were taken by my bestie Elisabeth Carol & the wedding was one that she did at the beginning of the year & just got featured on Wedding Chicks!

A year ago, I would’ve never guessed that I would be engaged to the most wonderful man. God has truly been working on me and preparing me for the future that He has planned for us. Stephen and I met in our church Home Group and it was all up hill from there. Looking back now, I would’t have done it any other way. While the Lord was working on me, He was also working on Stephen and we have been able to see Him use us and we cannot wait to see what He has in store for our future!!

A huge thank you to our amazing friends Elisabeth Carol Photography and Jordan Laessig for capturing this moment for us!

“Like when I close my eyes and don’t even care if anyone sees me dancing
Like I can fly, and don’t even think of touching the ground
Like a heartbeat skip, like an open page
Like a one way trip on an aeroplane
It’s the way that I feel when I’m with you, brand new”
