DFW Wedding Planner Tag

To say I was excited when I got these beauties in my inbox is an understatement, I mean…do you see this??? Lauren Brandon Photography did an AMAZING job of capturing Julia and Robin’s love and joy! I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for a while now, and I can’t believe it’s a little over a week away. Until then, enjoy these stunning photos with me.

YALL. Aren’t Mollie & Jacob just the most adorable couple ever?! I met Mollie a while back when she first reached out about me helping with her wedding and loved her sweet heart. She has been so patient through the planning and has never lost sight of just wanting to marry her sweet fiancé. Now, enjoy these gorgeous photos from Jennefer Wilson Photography!

Kevin and Kimberly were so adorable & I loved being able to work with them on their gorgeous Stonegate Mansion Wedding. This wedding was definitely memorable since they were the last wedding I did before our own wedding! And it was the perfect way to end 2016! I hope you enjoy these stunning photos from Alba Rose Photography.

Gosh, my girl is gorgeous! It’s always all the more sweeter when you get to step back and watch your friends tie the knot and this wedding was no different. Brittany is stunning and these photos match her joy, elegance and love for her husband. I cannot wait to share their gorgeous Tuscan wedding, but for now, enjoy!

I may be a little biased, but the person you choose to entrust with one of the most important days of your life – some refer to as the wedding planner. This person should not only have access to a wide variety of vendors, but a passion for people and a love for all things gorgeous! So, I knew that whoever was holding my day would have to be someone very special – and I had just the person!

I am 100% for Wedding Planners – OBVIOUSLY. BUT I will be the first to admit that I was trying every angle to not have to hire one. I mean, I am a wedding planner right?? COME ON. How hard could it be to plan MY wedding. After much denial, I decided to grab coffee with my girl Lottie over at Grit + Gold Weddings. Lottie and I met up a while back over drinks and I immediately knew she was awesome. This woman has an amazing eye for design and is always up for a challenge. We sat Friday morning talking about life and eventually my wedding planning came up and I was kind of embarrassed to say that I -the wedding planner – didn’t have a wedding planner!

Y’all. I cannot even tell you the weight that was lifted after I booked Grit + Gold and realized that I wouldn’t have to worry about anything. I could sit upstairs and soak up those sweet moments with my girls. PRAISE THE LAWD. And we didn’t just choose to go with them because Lottie and I are friends, but because they are some of the BEST and we knew that we would have NOTHING to worry about with them on our team.

So remember, when you are debating on whether or not hiring a Wedding Planner is worth the search and money, we are on your side! We want the absolutely very best for you and your groom!

Happy Thursday!

When one of the sweetest people you know calls you and asks if you would be interested in doing a styled shoot for a workshop, you drop everything and say YES! Jessica with Jessica Gold Photography is a gem and has the most contagious spirit! She launched her first workshop this year and totally crushed it – even though she completely lost her voice!

We worked with some AMAZING vendors & despite the dreary weather, I loved how it all came together!

We were so blessed to be featured on Ruffled Blog! Thank you thank you thank YOU to everyone who made this possible!

We also got to see my friend Emily at Emily Paige Films create an amazing behind the scenes video!!

This wedding was anything short of fun. Britan and Taylor made sure to create an atmosphere that no one would forget! From an epic band to Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits at the end of the night, they’re guests left happy!

Taylor & Britan’s wedding was featured on Wedding Chicks back in February and anyone could see why! It was full of gorgeous Fall details that could not have happened without this amazing list of A team vendors!

“Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away,
for behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come…”
Song of Solomon 2:11-12

It’s like a sigh of relief when the first day of Spring comes because no matter where you are and what the weather is like that day, there’s a promise for better things ahead.

I also love seeing all the trends that happen every year and how creative my brides get!

For the next couple of weeks, I’m going to be featuring my favorite trends that I’m seeing this Spring & today we are starting with Florals.

Can you see a reoccurring theme…lol I have a thing for gorgeous ribbons and luscious greenery. The one big thing that I love is the pops of color that are making their debuts in a lot of arrangements this year.

If you are going to splurge on one thing to make your arrangement really stand out, check out Silk & Willow!! I’m pretty sure the third photo is using them & I’ms use you know what I’m talking about.

So pretty.

Happy Spring pretty ladies!!

First thing first – I’m the realist – hah just kidding!! But for real. Happy 2nd Birthday to Borrowed & Blue Occasions!!

I am so beside myself and cannot wrap my mind around everything that has happened over the past two years & the people that have helped me get there. It truly is a great feeling when you are walking in the place the Lord has put you & I could not be more grateful. I have met so many people along the way that have driven, encouraged and influenced me to become the business that I want my couples to experience & that has brought me to encounter do many incredible couples!

I hope you love the rebrand! I was so excited when the Lord lead me to be intentional this year and that meant in every aspect of my life. So, I started with my branding and from there came a little facelift to my website! I have also added something new to my packaging and I am so excited about seeing where that goes!

So grab a cup of tea or coffee on this dreary Monday and take a look around and let me know what you think!

Also, be sure and keep and eye out for an awesome giveaway to celebrate #BandBOccasionsTurns2 that include goodies from some amazing vendors!!

PS: HUGE hugs go out to XOGinny – the girl behind my stunning new logo & Elisabeth Carol for rocking it and pulling every last detail in my new website together! you two are rockstars and I could not have done it without you!
