“And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.”

When one of the sweetest people you know calls you and asks if you would be interested in doing a styled shoot for a workshop, you drop everything and say YES! Jessica with Jessica Gold Photography is a gem and has the most contagious spirit! She launched her first workshop this year and totally crushed it – even though she completely lost her voice!

We worked with some AMAZING vendors & despite the dreary weather, I loved how it all came together!

We were so blessed to be featured on Ruffled Blog! Thank you thank you thank YOU to everyone who made this possible!

We also got to see my friend Emily at Emily Paige Films create an amazing behind the scenes video!!

One of my goals this year was to branch out and learn as much as I could from others, so I attend the Ginny Au Workshop in Dallas! It was such an amazing day and I got to sit alongside some amazing talent and people that just love beauty. Ginny was so personable and just wants you to become the best creative you can be. It was such a joy to learn from her!

Is there a limited about of times that you can post a picture?? I mean come on…how can you not stop looking at this shot? The dress and those florals are amazing.

I posted this picture because this is a great summary of my weekend. I spent the majority of it really digging into Borrowed & Blue and what I was hoping for it to become. I kept looking at this picture thinking…this is what I want.

Classically beautiful & full of grace.

That is what I want to be known for. That is what I want for my couples and the way they feel when they look over their pictures and are reminded of their day. So, that is what I am striving for.

The next few months are going to be an amazing journey of figuring out who my company is and what it can be & I cannot wait to experience it with you!

So, let’s do it!

As most of you saw, we were featured on Style Me Pretty last week as their New Year’s Eve feature!

I am so excited to be able to share this shoot with you guys! Elisabeth and I are always looking for new ways to get creative and work together. She was actually the one that came up with an idea for a New Year’s Shoot & I was pumped! With a combination of great models and amazing vendors, everything came together just the way we envisioned it!

So, I present to you our New Year’s Eve Styled Shoot:

And of course, Jordan is always there to capture those special moments with a behind the scenes look at our shoot!!

A huge thank you to all the amazing vendors that ALWAYS make the shoot just that much better!

I have been chomping at the bits to share these pictures with you guys!

Back at the beginning of the year, one of dearest friends, Elisabeth came to me about doing a styled shoot with her! Of course, I was so happy to join up with her, again!

We decided that this years Pantone Color of the year would be the best way to go and that’s where we came up with our Simple Elegance Emerald + Gold theme.

I am so, so thankful for the vendors that helped with this shoot and could not have worked with a better group of people!

I was especially excited about this video my friend Jordan Laessig made as a “behind the scenes” look at the shoot

This past weekend was so busy, but full of all the things I love!

Here is a sneak peek of our styled shoot:

On top of all the craziness, we had another surprise up our sleeves.

My roommates’ boyfriend, who was a part of the shoot, had been secretly planning a proposal! I could barely hold myself together. It was so precious!

Thank you to everyone that made this day possible!

I cannot wait to be able to share everything from this day with y’all!
